Matthew Grieb
Matthew A. Grieb is a financial advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) who focuses on delivering solutions to clients’ financial situations through comprehensive financial planning. The focus of Matt’s practice has been advising medical practitioners, particularly owners of a practice. Leveraging practitioners’ limited time is critical, and specific planning considerations are required. I’m proudly married to a nurse practitioner and have a long history of advising members of the medical community. As a CFP®, Matt is well-versed in all aspects of the business including, retirement planning, business planning, client portfolio construction, estate planning, insurance, and investment management.
He holds the Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, as well as life, health, and variable insurance licenses. Matt graduated from Catholic University in 2012 with a degree in finance, and was a four-year starter for the Cardinal’s baseball team. As a native Washingtonian, Matt grew up in Montgomery County, MD, and attended St. Albans School in DC. He currently resides in Fairfax, VA, with his wife, Natalie, who is a trauma nurse, and their son Jack.
Matt is active in the local community and has volunteered with several organizations in the greater DC area. His past involvements include Junior Achievement and the Humane Society of the United States. He currently is a member of the Auxiliary Council for the Bishop Walker School in southeast DC.
